History of Edenbridge Bonfire Society Effigies

The Edenbridge Bonfire Society, known for its tradition of burning effigies of controversial figures, has previously targeted the likes of Sadiq Khan, Liz Truss, Boris Johnson, and Donald Trump. This year, more than 500 participants will be part of the torch-lit parade through Edenbridge High Street as the effigy is set ablaze.

Effigy Creator's Perspective Effigy creator Andrea Deans emphasized that the Oasis ticket issue affected a broad demographic. Reece Hook, another creator, clarified that the depiction of Liam and Noel Gallagher wasn't intended as criticism of the artists but aimed at the corporate practices of Ticketmaster.
