Liam’s Take: “Biblical Easter Sunday”

On Easter Sunday, Liam Gallagher shared a moment of reconciliation via social media that surprised everyone:

“So we had a BIBLICAL Easter Sunday Noel Donavan and Sonny popped over to ours for a cup of tea… i obviously blew there minds coz im cool as fuck you heard it here 1st LG x”

Not only did he reunite with his brother Noel, but Liam also met Noel’s teenage sons, Donovan (17 or 18) and Sonny (14). It may have been the first time Liam and Sonny actually met in person, given the long years of estrangement between the families.

The Context Behind the Cup of Tea

The brothers’ feud, which ended in 2009, was one of the most infamous in music history. Their Easter reunion—complete with cousins meeting over tea—is not just a footnote—it’s a significant milestone in their healing process.

Supporting outlets like Contactmusic.com echoed the sentiment: “A cup of tea solves everything! Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited over a brew ahead of Oasis reunion tour.”

This Easter catch-up came with the heavy undertone of a new beginning. With the Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour set to launch on 4 July in Cardiff, the timing couldn’t be more symbolic.
