Gallagher’s comments come as Worthy Farm hosts tens of thousands of music fans between 26–30 June 2025. He remains a devoted Glastonbury-goer, even describing it as “probably the best f**king thing about Britain apart from the Premier League.” happymag.tv

This year’s festival has been marked by on-stage controversies. On 28 June, Avon and Somerset Police launched a criminal investigation into punk-rap duo Bob Vylan and Irish act Kneecap after the former led chants of “death, death to the IDF” and the latter denounced Prime Minister Keir Starmer during their sets. Authorities are examining the performances as potential public order and hate-crime offences. reuters.com

The BBC, which was streaming Bob Vylan’s set live, later apologised for not halting the broadcast during the chants, and Glastonbury organisers have stressed that a performer’s presence does not imply endorsement of their views.
