The Atmosphere
Worthy Farm was electric that evening, with over 100,000 attendees eagerly awaiting the Manchester band’s set. Coming off the success of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, and the recent release of their chart-topping single "Some Might Say," Oasis had become the band of the moment. Fans packed the grounds, singing along to every word as Liam Gallagher’s iconic vocals filled the night air.
The Performance
Oasis’s set was a perfect mix of raw energy and anthemic melodies. Opening with "Rock 'n' Roll Star," the band set the tone for an unforgettable night. Liam’s swagger and Noel Gallagher’s masterful guitar work commanded the stage, while Bonehead (Paul Arthurs) and Guigsy (Paul McGuigan) anchored the performance with their steady rhythm. New drummer Alan White proved his mettle with a flawless performance, bringing a fresh dynamic to the band’s sound.
