Power — whose band is opening for Oasis on the Live ’25 tour — told Vulture and Radio X that the energy between the brothers feels genuinely positive:
“They both genuinely … well, of course they want to be there, but you can feel the positive energy. It’s all going hunky-dory.”
He also revealed how the support slot came about, crediting Liam’s cryptic tweets and a direct phone call:
“I answered it and it was Liam. He was buzzing. He said he just got off the phone with this kid, Noel, and they wanted us to open. He asked, ‘John, do you want to open for us?’ And I was like, ‘Are you kidding me, man? Yeah!’”
According to Power, the tour has become more than just a series of gigs:
“These gigs have become more than just a show. It’s a happening. It’s a gathering. They’ve been absolutely wild.”
CAST join Oasis for their sold-out run across Wembley, Edinburgh, and Dublin this summer, with further September Wembley dates still to come.
