Liam Gallagher has teased that Oasis are preparing to announce “quite a few more” support acts for the band’s Live ’27 tour.
The singer made the comment on social media on Monday, September 28, while responding to a fan discussing ticket prices for the forthcoming tour.
Gallagher did not reveal the names of any additional artists, and Oasis have yet to confirm how many further support acts will be added. His comment nevertheless suggests the currently announced line-up is far from complete.
Richard Ashcroft is currently the only officially confirmed support act associated with the Live ’27 dates.
The former Verve frontman’s involvement was announced earlier this month, extending a connection between Oasis and one of the most recognisable figures from the same generation of British guitar music.
Ashcroft and Oasis have shared stages and audiences since the 1990s, while Liam Gallagher has repeatedly spoken positively about the singer and his music over the years.
More Oasis Live ’27 announcements expected
Gallagher’s latest comment is therefore likely to fuel speculation over who else could join Oasis during the 2027 tour.
No further artists have yet been officially named, meaning any suggested support acts remain speculation until confirmed by Oasis, the relevant promoters or the artists themselves.
The band adopted a varied support line-up during the Oasis Live ’25 tour, with different artists appearing across different parts of the itinerary rather than one act supporting every show.
A similar approach for 2027 could allow Oasis to announce different support acts for individual countries, venues or groups of dates.
For now, Gallagher’s suggestion that there are “quite a few more” acts still to be revealed indicates that further Live ’27 announcements are likely.
Oasis Live ’27 ticket sales continue
The tease comes as the staggered ticket-sale process for Oasis Live ’27 reaches its final scheduled stages.
Ticketmaster began opening city-by-city purchase windows on Friday, September 25, following a registration process in which selected fans received unique purchase codes and links between September 24 and September 27.
Demand for the new dates has followed the extraordinary interest surrounding Oasis’ return to live performance and the expansion of the reunion into another year.
The 2027 itinerary now includes additional concerts in Munich, Rome and Knebworth alongside a substantial UK programme.
The British dates are currently scheduled to include an extended run at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, concerts at Celtic Park in Glasgow and six shows at Knebworth.
Knebworth carries particular significance in Oasis history. The band’s original concerts there on August 10 and 11, 1996 became defining moments of their mid-1990s peak, with around 250,000 people attending across the two nights after millions applied for tickets.
Returning to the site in 2027 will therefore place Oasis back at one of the locations most closely associated with the scale of the band at the height of Britpop.
Who will support Oasis in 2027?
That question remains unanswered beyond Richard Ashcroft.
Gallagher’s social-media comment should be treated as a indication that more announcements are planned rather than confirmation of any particular artist.
Until Oasis or the relevant performers make those announcements themselves, the remaining Live ’27 support slots remain open.
With ticket sales continuing and the 2027 programme expanding, however, the next round of line-up announcements could provide another significant part of the build-up to Oasis Live ’27.
